Spring Gathering 2025
In March 2025 we met up with our students in a historic hall filled with light from its stained-glass windows.

Music education is about more than playing. Listening, sharing and taking inspiration from other people’s music are all part of the journey. In March 2025 we met up with our students in a striking historic hall with tall stained-glass windows and a soaring ceiling.
Sitting side by side on the wooden pews, the students took in the atmosphere of the hall together. With conversation, plenty of laughter and a group photo, the gathering brought us closer to one another, and to the June concert, halfway through the year.
The middle of the year is when many students find their motivation tested. A gathering like this was also a good occasion to imagine how the pieces they are working on in lessons will one day sound on stage, and to set new goals for June.
Occasions like this matter for students who usually work one-to-one. Meeting other children who love the same instrument reminds them that they are not on this path alone, and that music grows when it is shared.
